For over 35 years, Paddington Markets has showcased the very best of Australian art, craft and fashion. This month, Paddington will play host to the first "Emerging Designer Exhibition", an exhibition showcasing the next generation of design stars featuring their works from graphic design, jewellery, furniture, object design and photography.
Launching on Saturday, 26th April 2008 from 10am till 4pm at the Uniting Church within the Paddington Markets, the participants are both past and present students from TAFE colleges and NSW universities with some already enjoying successful design careers. Each one was chosen for their vision, experimental direction and fresh approach and all represent the very best that future Australian design has to offer.
Entry to the event is free! What better way to spend your Saturday than enjoying an exclusive preview of the works of Australia's up and coming designers whilst surrounded by Sydney's coolest market?
