Levi Consulting is a specialist professional services firm. After 10 years, the Levi management wanted to "overhaul" the brand, livery and collateral. It also wanted its new website to be search engine compliant to generate quality business leads through SEM tools such as Google AdWords. Established by principal David Levi, Levi Consulting has grown to be one of Australia's leading advisory, restructure, forensic and insolvency firms. The business is based on referrals from accountants, lawyers, bankers, directors, private equity and fund managers, lenders and creditors.

CHALLENGE

  • To renew the Levi Consulting brand with a contemporary, yet professional image whilst still maintaining the brand equity accumulated for more than a decade.
  • Client brief: "To create a brand that had the look and feel of a BMW 3 Series, not a 5 Series. Expensive, but affordable for successful people."

STRATEGY

  • Trendhaus developed a concept for a new brand identity that was unique in that it steered away from common industry misperceptions of being conservative and often not trustworthy.

EXECUTION

Trendhaus undertook a major re-branding project, taking into consideration all touch points of the Levi brand:

  • Logo Redesign:
    Using a combination of fresh (orange) and corporate (grey) colours, Trendhaus created a logo which stood out against other players in the market. In addition, new font styles as well as a new brand icon were introduced.
  • Tagline Creation:
    The Levi Consulting tagline needed to be adaptable for clients looking for the firm’s various service offerings (forensic accounting services and/or insolvency services). Trendhaus created tagline variations for both the logo as well as the supporting collateral to cater to various target audiences.
  • Website: www.leviconsulting.com.au:
    The web design focused on streamlining the Levi brand experience by using the same colours and language components used in other pieces of collateral. A fresh look & feel was achieved through the use of rotating conceptual images. Combined with an informative tagline, each concept suggests a Levi service offering. The site was built primarily in HTML with rotating flash elements. This was a strategic decision by Trendhaus in order for the website to be search engine friendly.
  • Language:
    All communication was streamlined to reflect the brand language attributes: smart, intelligent, witty, professional, reliable.

RESULTS

  • Levi Consulting has recovered the cost of the website twice in 10 weeks thanks to new business generated from SEM (= search engine marketing) and a successful bid where the offshore decision maker made the evaluation based on referral, brand and website.
  • Increased awareness for the Levi Consulting brand amongst existing and potential new clients, e.g. accountants, lawyers and other referral sources.
  • Increased visitor traffic to website.
  • Increased awareness and enquiries from new potential clients through online channels.
